Here’s where we are in the search process:
We appreciate the applications we’ve receive and have been processing and praying about those. We are still very much in an information-seeking mode, which means that we’re asking for more applications and networking with our colleagues across the country to talk about the position and ask for referrals.
"But be sure to fear the Lord and faithfully serve him. Think of all the wonderful things he has done for you." - 1 Samuel 12:24
We are prayerfully and diligently asking God to lead us in filling the Teaching Minister position. So the words of Samuel ring true with me this morning and remind me to "fear the Lord and faithfully serve him." We are full of gratitude for God's grace over the past several decades and look expectantly for that same grace over the coming decades. Our desire to see God's transforming work in our community includes our Leadership Continuity Team (LCT).
We are humbled by the process and the relationships that will be formed through it for God's Kingdom. His Kingdom is relational; discipleship is relational; this process should be relational. So we are putting this process in front of God, praying for those that have applied and for those that are still discerning the pull of His Holy Spirit.
We don't want to leave any ambiguity, so feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
